INTRODUCTION

 

The cultural committee of SWAMI VIVEKANANDA COLLEGE OF EDUCATION strives to celebrate the cultural diversity by organizing various activities. The committee seeks to create a platform that provides the students with an opportunity for the students to relax and enjoy campus life amidst rigorous academics.

 

The focus of the committee is to provide rich experience to the students in various diversified cultural activities. The committee attempts to provide an opportunity to students to collaborate and build their organizational skills while managing events.it is a forum through which the culture and traditions of our country could be showcased, thereby building a sense of national pride among the students.

 

The Cultural Committee is one of the most dedicated and innovative platforms the main purpose is to find the inner talent and capabilities. We are more focused on growing and learning than any other aspects. Social/cultural activities not only help students to identify the talent but also assist students to develop themselves in a desired field and improve skills such as organizational, presentation, leadership and interpersonal communication.

 

Salvador Dali said, “a true artist is not the one who is inspired, but the one who inspires others”. We at cultural committee not only just achieve our goals or celebrate our endeavours. The cultural committee every year participates in many events and secures podiums and prizes in several fests, events and competitions.

 

 

OBJECTIVES OF THE CULTURAL COMMITTEE:

 

Cultural Committee is responsible for keeping the spirits alive on the campus by organizing a multitude of cultural activities round the year.

• To explore their talents in a creative manner and showcase their hidden talents.

• To plan and organize various intra collegiate activities.

• To encourage the students to take active participation in various activities.

• To promote team spirit among the student community.

• To Create cultured ambience atmosphere in terms of behaviour, attitude and presentation

• To facilitate condusive environment for students and staff alike for active involvement in all the celebration.

• To identify, encourage and promote students to perform at various stages facilitated by the institute.
